We have reached 90 million!! Sharp is happy to announce that our products carrying the unique Plasmacluster™ has sold more than 90 million units worldwide. Since the introduction in year 2000 of the first air purifiers equipped with Plasmacluster™ technology, Sharp's proprietary air purification technology, total sales of products equipped with this technology reached 90 million units worldwide in 2020.

Sharp now has the world's first air purifier proven to eliminate the airborne COVID-19 virus! In a lab test conducted in Japan, the infectious ability of the virus was reduced by 90% just by being exposed to Plasmacluster™ ions for 30 seconds. Sharp Contributes to the Fight Against COVID-19 with 100 Units of Plasmacluster™ Technology Air Purifiers Donated to 5 Hospitals in Singapore

In this fight against COVID-19 together as a nation, Sharp Singapore played its part to help ensure a safe working and rehabilitation environment in several local hospitals. 100 units of Plasmacluster™ Air Purifiers were donated to, Changi General Hospital, Ng Teng Fong Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, and Alexandra Hospital. Measures were taken in delivery to ensure we abided by safe distancing laws. A big THANK YOU to our healthcare and essential service workers during this time!
